COVER ILLUSTRATION
Issue #9’s cover illustration, based on Hailey Piper’s victorian-flavored horror “Brain Trust”, was inspired by the bright colors used by sci-fi greats like Moebius. I wanted to play with a more dynamic perspective and use that to capture the many moving parts of the story. Illustration drawn over 75 hours in Procreate.

As Planet Scumm’s production designer, I format and typeset the books.

Planet Scumm Issue #5 | Cover Illustration and Publication Design
For Issue 5 of Planet Scumm, we did a complete revamp of our cover design convention, opting to emulate the feel of 1950s pulp. I drew a prohibition-gone-Lovecraft themed cover, based on the featured story “Ain’t We Got Fun” by Paul C.K. Spears. Inspired by the seven deadly sins, all of these characters are original designs. Painted in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil.
